Vintage 1940s Syroco wood horse head bookends featuring a carved brown finish and detailed bridle accents. The distinctive signature logo on the bottom reads "SyrocoWood, Syracuse, N.Y., Made in U.S.A." While it feels and weighs much like solid wood, SyrocoWood is actually an early molded composite material. Approximately 7” x 6.5” x 3.25” with some aged surface wear and scratches. One chipped ear shown in photos. Display beautifully!
