This object is an antique wooden textile mill bobbin, specifically a "beehive" style spool with a small vintage wooden spool and yarn. It was used in industrial weaving and spinning machinery to hold yarn or thread. Today, these primitive wooden bobbins are widely collected as rustic home decor or repurposed into candlestick holders. 12” & 4” with perfect aged patina and wear.
