This is a vintage Handarbeit round wooden trinket box, handcrafted and hand-painted in Germany. The lid features intricate carved openwork or filigree patterns. A small, hand-painted floral design is centered on the top of the lid. This vintage Handarbeit German trinket box typically dates back to the 1950s to 1960s, during the Mid-Century boom for traditional Bavarian and Black Forest folk art souvenirs. It’s 3” with only minor flaws on rim shown in photos.
