Authentic mid-20th century vintage sewing basket. The padded pink or peach satin fabric inside the lid was originally designed to act as a pin cushion or a safe place to tuck needles.Ribbon Bows: The small satin bows on either side typically held internal elastic pockets or straps for securing small sewing notions like scissors, thimbles, or thread. The fabric shows minor water staining and age-related foxing, which is very typical for fabric linings from this era. Minor exterior surface wear as well, see photos. Approximately 10” x 4” tall.
